Playa de la Madera
Playa de la Madera is one of the few remaining true insider tips. It is located on the west coast, somewhere between El Golfo and Caleta de Famara. We do not want to be more specific about its whereabouts, but one thing is certain: true friends of hiking will find it at some point, no matter what.

La Santa
On the west coast, close to the little village of La Santa, there is a sports facility with the same name - the largest such facility in Europe. Around the little lagoons that fill up with the tide and empty out again, there are also several possibilities to go bathing. Here, it is especially safe for children to enter the water.

Playa de Famara
Playa Famara is one of the most popular beaches on the island. It is a quite wild and rough part of the coast, where it also can be quite dangerous to swim, as one can see from the red flag that is almost always flying. The mighty Risco de Famara rises up high behind the beach. Here you will find a small photo gallery from Famara.

Playa del Risco
Playa del Risco is located on the northwestern part of the coast, almost vertically below Mirador del Rio. To get there, you first have a brisk hike on foot down the mountain from Ye (30 min), but then you have the beach practically all to yourself.
